The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has released the official notification for CET 2026 Graduation Level under Advertisement No. 09/2026. This is a Common Eligibility Test, which means candidates who pass this exam become eligible to apply for various Group B posts under different departments of the Rajasthan government. If you are a Graduation pass candidate looking for a government job in Rajasthan, this exam is very important for you. this exam will be held every year and its result will be valid for next three years for applying to different post. The Candidates needs to score minimum 40% marks for eligible into departments recruitment process.
CET stands for Common Eligibility Test. RSSB conducts this exam separately for two levels, Graduation Level and Senior Secondary Level. The Graduation Level CET is meant for candidates who have passed Graduation Exam . Once you clear this exam, you become eligible to apply for recruitment in 12 different subordinate and clerical services of the Rajasthan government, such as Platoon Commander, Patwari, Supervisor (Women Empowerment), Sub Jailor, Hostel Superintendent, Junior Accountant, Village Development Officer etc and several other posts. The CET itself is not a final selection, it is just an eligibility screening exam. After qualifying CET, you still need to apply separately when the actual recruitment notification for a particular post comes out.
Dept. of Personal letter dated 19 April 2023 decided the following One Time Registration Fee for all applicants:
Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, EBC, or EWS categories from states other than Rajasthan shall be treated as General category candidates and must pay the General category fee.
Applicants who have paid the OTR fee and remain absent in examinations shall be treated according to the Department of Personnel letter dated 09 May 2025.
You must have passed Graduation Exam or its equivalent from a recognized University. Candidates who are currently in their final year of Graduation can also apply, but they will need to complete their qualification before the final recruitment as per the department rules. The age limit for this exam is 18 to 40 years. There is no restriction on the number of times you can attempt this exam.
General, OBC, and EWS candidates need to score a minimum of 40 percent marks to qualify. SC and ST candidates need a minimum of 35 percent marks. Divyang candidates get a 5 percent relaxation as well. CET score remains valid for three years from the date the result is declared.
